Deputy Warden of the Provincial Police Detention Center, Lieutenant Colonel Dao Van Khoi, said that this is the heart and affection of the Board of Warden and prison officers towards the prisoners on the occasion of Tet and Spring.
“This meal is cooked from food made from the labor of the prisoners themselves. We hope that the prisoners will realize their mistakes and understand that only by working hard with their own strength will they achieve good results,” said Lieutenant Colonel Khoi, hoping that the prisoners will be able to work in peace and soon return to society as honest citizens, good fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters in the family.

The New Year's Eve meal with traditional dishes such as banh chung, pickled onions, jellied meat, braised fish... like the Tet meal of any Vietnamese family made many prisoners moved to tears.
Prisoner Phan Van Phuong (from Yen Thanh) on behalf of the prisoners sent his thanks to the attention of the Board of Supervisors and prison officers: "Even though celebrating Tet here cannot be like at home, the attention of the Board of Supervisors and prison officers makes us feel warmer. We will strive to work hard in the reformatory labor to soon return to be honest citizens, and teach our children and grandchildren to live according to the law."
