On the afternoon of May 15, Que Ngoc Hai participated in a charity match with a team of entertainment stars at Thong Nhat Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City. Before entering the match, the central defender from Nghe An received flowers and congratulations from artists on the day he turned 23 years old.
In this match, Que Ngoc Hai fought alongside teammates Nguyen Manh, Trong Hoang, Manh Hung, Truong Huynh Phu and former national players such as Huy Hoang, The Anh, Viet Thang... The opponents on the other side included famous artists of the Ho Chi Minh City entertainment industry such as singer Ly Hai, Hoang Bach, actors Thai Hoa, Hieu Hien, Huy Khanh, comedians Nhat Cuong, Hoang Son, Tiet Cuong...
The match attracted nearly 5,000 fans to the stadium. Mr. Vo Quoc Thang - Chairman of VPF - also attended and donated 10 million VND. At the end of the match, the organizers announced that they had collected more than 114 million VND in donations from sponsors, spectators and players of both teams.
