Thanks to the excellence and courage of the players, especially those playing in defense, coach Phan Nhu Thuat and his team won a 1-1 draw against Hanoi Police in round 10 of V.League 2024/2025.

On this trip to the capital, the Nghe An team cannot bring Ho Van Cuong, Phan Xuan Dai, and especially the captain.Michael Olahadue to injury. Meanwhile, Hanoi Police entered the field with a very strong squad, including many top stars of V.League.

Besides the national team players such as Nguyen Quang Hai, Vu Van Thanh, Tran Dinh Trong, Phan Van Duc and Le Pham Thanh Long, the home team also has 3 foreign players (Alan, Leo Artur, Hugo Gomes) and 2 overseas Vietnamese players (Filip Nguyen and Jason Quang Vinh Pendant).

With a quality squad, coach Mano Polking's team easily dominated the game right after referee Ngo Duy Lan blew the opening whistle. Nguyen Quang Hai and his teammates continuously launched dangerous attacks towards the away team's goal.

Despite facing an attack that is considered the most formidable in V.League 2024/2025, Song Lam Nghe An's defense had an excellent match. The success of the Nghe team in this draw had great contributions from players such as Nguyen Van Viet, Tran Dinh Hoang, Sebastian Zaracho, Le Van Thanh, and Vuong Van Huy.

Thanks to the class of stars like Nguyen Quang Hai, Phan Van Duc, Jason Quang Vinh Pendant, Leo Artur, and Alan, the attacks of Hanoi Police were very diverse and dangerous. However, the away team's defense played with more than 100% ability to hold on.

Conceding only one goal (scored by Hugo Gomes in the 41st minute) was a great success for Song Lam Nghe An’s defense. Notably, the Nghe An team had to play with one less player from the 53rd minute after midfielder Nguyen Van Bach received an undeserved red card.

In this match, Sebastian Zaracho was definitely the most prominent face. Playing alongside Le Van Thanh in the center-back position, the Paraguayan player not only locked down the opponent's spearhead Alan but also appeared promptly at hot spots to support his teammates.

Not only did he complete his defensive duties well, Sebastian Zaracho also left his mark with the opening goal. This was the first goal scored by the 1999-born central defender for Song Lam Nghe An. It can be said that Sebastian Zaracho is gradually integrating well with the Vinh team after a disappointing first period.
