On the afternoon of July 22, seeing guests visiting the tea island, Mr. Le Van Ly and Mr. Ha Dinh Hue (both residing in Thanh Thinh commune, Thanh Chuong district) argued over it, leading to an argument.

Suddenly, Mr. Hue pulled out a knife from the boat and slashed the victim, causing his left hand to be nearly severed. Discovering the incident, people rushed to stop it and took the victim to the emergency room.

Mr. Ly was taken to Vinh City for emergency treatment, but due to the severity of his injuries, he was transferred to Viet Duc Hospital (Hanoi) for further surgery to reattach his arm.

Regarding the incident, Thanh Chuong District Police said that after the fight between two boat owners on Cau Cau tea island, the authorities have drawn up a record of the incident and are waiting for the results of the victim's injury assessment to take action according to legal regulations.
