Avoid taking advantage of support policies under Resolution 42
(Baonghean.vn) - The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee established a delegation to monitor the implementation of support policies according to Resolution 42 of the Government to ensure the rights of the subjects and avoid taking advantage of and profiting from the policy.

On the afternoon of May 6, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held a meeting with a number of relevant sectors, agencies and units to agree on a plan to monitor and inspect the implementation of support policies for people facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and provincial-level socio-political organizations.
At the meeting, representatives of sectors, agencies and units gave opinions and agreed on the content, objects, scope, form and method of supervision. Accordingly, supervision is organized at 3 levels, including 8 contents.
For the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and mass organizations to monitor the support for employers to borrow capital to pay salaries to employees.
The Fatherland Front and mass organizations at district and commune levels are responsible for supervising the remaining 7 contents. Including supporting employees who temporarily suspend their labor contracts or take unpaid leave; supporting business households with tax-declared revenue of less than 100 million VND/year; supporting employees whose labor contracts or employment contracts are terminated but are not eligible for unemployment benefits; supporting employees who do not have labor contracts and lose their jobs; supporting people with meritorious services to the revolution; poor households, near-poor households and social protection beneficiaries.

Forms of supervision include: supervision through reports on support for people with revolutionary contributions; poor households, near-poor households and social protection beneficiaries; the remaining subjects are directly supervised at relevant agencies and units.
After receiving the monitoring results from the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations at the district and commune levels; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and mass organizations at the provincial level will organize an inspection and evaluation of the monitoring results at the district and commune levels; including making a list, publicly posting, payment and feedback from the people, especially those who have lost their jobs or quit their jobs.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh emphasized that the supervision and inspection of the implementation of support policies for people facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic according to Resolution 42 of the Government is to ensure that the policies are implemented promptly and to the right subjects; protect the legitimate rights and interests of beneficiaries, and avoid taking advantage of and profiteering from the policies.
Therefore, the monitoring process requires the Vietnam Fatherland Front and organizations at all levels to have a firm grasp of policies, while the monitoring process must be responsible, ensure objectivity, impartiality, comply with legal regulations and not affect the normal operations of the agencies and units being monitored.
