The accident occurred at 5:30 a.m. on August 30 at km 14+900 of National Highway 48B, through Quynh My commune, Quynh Luu district.
At the above time, the HOWO vehicle with license plate 37C – 24840 driven by driver Nam, residing in Quynh Hoa commune, was transporting sand from Nghia Dan to Cau Giat town (Quynh Luu).
When the vehicle reached the above location, due to avoiding a truck going in the opposite direction, the sand truck plunged into the rice field on the right side of the road, after "plowing" dozens of meters of road.
