Awarding 16 scholarships to poor students in Quynh Luu

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 27, Yen Thai Pagoda (Quynh Luu), in coordination with the charity group of Quan Am Pagoda (Ninh Thuan), organized the awarding of 16 scholarships, each worth 500,000 VND, to students in Quynh Luu with difficult circumstances who have strived to achieve high results in their studies.

These scholarships demonstrate the concern, sharing and timely help of the monks of Yen Thai Pagoda and Quan Am Pagoda to join hands with the whole society to support poor students with special circumstances to reduce difficulties in life, and encourage them to continue to strive to achieve high academic achievements.

It is known that this is a sponsorship program implemented by Yen Thai Pagoda and Quan Am Pagoda from 2013 to present. Each scholarship for poor but studious students will be sponsored by the pagoda until the students enter university with the condition of good or excellent academic performance over the years. Each annual scholarship is 1 million VND.
