Giving 180 gifts to poor ethnic minority students

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 15, in Anh Son district, 180 gifts were given to poor students from ethnic minorities in Hoa Son commune.

This is a volunteer activity of the Southern Buddhist delegation led by Venerable Thich Nguyen Phuoc, in coordination with Anh Son District Police, Truc Lam Yen Thanh Zen Monastery, and Buddhist Associations of Anh Son and Yen Thanh districts.

The delegation presented 180 gifts, each worth 350,000 VND including: warm clothes, milk, nutritious porridge and some school supplies such as: books, notebooks, pens...for poor ethnic minority students of Hoa Son Primary School, Secondary School and Kindergarten. The total value of the gifts is 63 million VND.

This is a very meaningful and practical gift to encourage poor students in ethnic minority areas to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies as well as to share with them when winter comes./.
