Awarded 500 million VND to build houses for poor households in Tuong Duong
(Baonghean.vn) - On November 18, the Party Committee of Nghe An Province's Business Bloc and Vietcombank Nghe An branch organized a ceremony to present 500 million VND to build 10 houses for poor households in Luu Kien and Xieng My communes, Tuong Duong district.
Attending were comrade Tran Quang Hoa - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Enterprise Bloc and representatives of Vietcombank Nghe An Branch.
Implementing Directive No. 21-CT/TU dated February 10, 2023 of the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership in mobilizing and supporting the construction and repair of houses for the poor and people with housing difficulties, the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee has mobilized the support and assistance of businesses in the spirit of mutual love and solidarity for the disadvantaged people.
Based on the survey of specific circumstances and the selection of particularly disadvantaged households by the local government, the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee and Vietcombank Nghe An branch have awarded 500 million VND to build 10 houses for households with housing difficulties (7 houses in Luu Kien commune and 3 houses in Xieng My commune). Currently, 7 houses have been completed and 3 houses are in the process of completion.
This meaningful work of the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee and Vietcombank Nghe An branch has helped households here realize their dream of "Settling down and having a career", overcoming all difficulties in life and rising up to escape poverty sustainably.
