Awarding 97 scholarships to poor students who overcome difficulties and study well

(Baonghean.vn) - On September 5, joining in the atmosphere of the opening day of the new school year 2016 - 2017, units under the Nghe An Border Guard on the two border and coastal lines presented gifts, supported scholarships, and sponsored students with difficult circumstances and good academic performance.

My Ly Border Guard Station awarded 4 scholarships to 4 students of My Ly and Bac Ly Secondary Schools, Ky Son District.

Representatives of the units presented a total of 97 gifts to support poor students who have overcome difficulties and studied well, with a monthly support level of 500,000 VND/student. In addition, the units also supported and presented gifts to help the students feel confident and excited to enter the new school year.

Typically, Mon Son Border Guard Station gave 2 students gifts worth 2,000,000 VND/gift including: 1 set of Hoa Phat student desks and chairs, 1 set of books and pens, 1 pair of shoes and 2 sets of clothes; My Ly Border Guard Station gave an additional 300,000 VND/child, and also awarded 4 scholarships (500,000 VND/month) from 2 provincial Border Guard commanders to 4 students in My Ly and Bac Ly communes, Ky Son district.
