Awarding ceremony of Nghe An province's vocational skills competition
(Baonghean.vn) - On June 30, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs held the closing ceremony of the 2017 provincial vocational skills competition.
Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of relevant departments and branches, teachers and students of 10 vocational schools in the province.
After 3 days of competition, the jury awarded 3 collective prizes and 35 individual prizes to students and instructors. In this competition, Vietnam - Korea Technical College won big when it won both the collective first prize and 3 individual first prizes in the subjects of electrical installation, automotive technology, and welding. The remaining 3 first prizes include refrigeration belonging to the candidate of Vocational College No. 4, Ministry of National Defense; fashion technology belonging to the Intermediate School of Industrial Technical College; cooking belonging to the candidate of the College of Commerce and Tourism....

This is a competition held every two years with the aim of honoring the young, highly skilled workforce. Thereby promoting the emulation movement of learning and practicing skills while encouraging teachers and learners to develop their creativity. Participating in this competition, there were 18 candidates from 10 vocational training institutions in the area. Before entering this competition, the candidates had also passed many competitions at the grassroots level.
The exam took place over 3 days, from June 28 to June 30, with 6 subjects: welding; automotive technology; electrical and refrigeration installation; cooking and fashion technology.

The biggest goal of the competition is to select high-achieving candidates to be included in the provincial team to participate in the 2018 national skills competition and aim for regional and world competitions.
