Giving canteen to boarding students in Ky Son border area
(Baonghean.vn) - A solid dining house with an investment capital of about 900 million VND was given to boarding students in the border area of Nam Can commune (Ky Son district).
On September 18, at Nam Can Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities (Ky Son District), leaders of Military Region 4 and the 4th National Defense Economic Group presented a boarding house to the school's boarding students with a total investment of about 900 million VND.

This is the amount of money from the "For the Poor" Fund donated by officers and soldiers of Military Region 4 to help poor localities in the process of building new rural areas. After 2 months of being assigned to the 4th National Defense Economic Group for survey and construction, the 185 m2 dining house2 has been completed and put into use.

Nam Can Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities has over 50% of its students being semi-boarders and having difficult circumstances. Previously, due to lack of investment capital, the school had to use a temporary house made of planks as a dining room for students. This is a meaningful gift for poor students in the border area in the new school year 2018-2019.
