Giving gifts to poor and disabled families
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 12, many agencies and organizations visited and gave gifts to disadvantaged and disabled families in Nghia Dan and Nam Dan districts.
* On January 12, Nghia Dan District Youth Union organized a visit and gave "Warm Winter" gifts to poor households in difficult circumstances in Nghia Loi, Nghia Lac, Nghia Tho, Nghia Long and Nghia Loc communes.
Here, Nghia Dan District Youth Union presented 10 gifts, each a warm blanket worth 550 thousand VND, to poor households and policy families with especially difficult circumstances.

Previously, the delegation of Cua Lo Town visited Nghia Tho Commune (Nghia Dan) to present 80 million VND to support the construction of 4 Great Solidarity houses for poor households; presented 30 gifts, each worth 600,000 VND to policy families and poor households, and supported 1 computer set to Nghia Tho Commune People's Committee worth 15 million VND.
Nghia Tho is the locality that Cua Lo Town received assistance from according to the decision of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee on assigning agencies and units to receive assistance to poor communes in the Western region of Nghe An province.
*On the afternoon of January 12, the Association for the Support of the Disabled and Orphans of the province and Nam Dan district coordinated to present money to support the construction of charity houses and breeding cows for the disabled in the area.
On this occasion, the delegation directly presented 30 million VND to support the construction of a house of gratitude for the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhon, hamlet 3, Hong Long commune, who is currently facing housing difficulties.

The delegation also came to present 10 million VND to Mr. Nguyen Van Manh's family in hamlet 7, Nam Anh commune to support the family in buying breeding cows to develop the economy.
This amount is taken from the provincial fund for the disabled and orphans, to encourage and motivate the less fortunate disabled to reduce some of their difficulties and integrate into the community.
