Giving gifts to students in difficult circumstances before the new school year

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 1, many localities and units organized gift giving events for children in difficult circumstances before the new school year.

On the afternoon of September 1, Nghi Loc District Education Promotion Association coordinated with Nghi Kieu Commune People's Committee and Thai Son Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company to present education promotion gifts to 15 poor students and students with especially difficult circumstances in the commune.

On this occasion, each child received a cash gift worth 400,000 VND.

In preparation for the new school year 2017 - 2018, the District Association for Promotion of Education has mobilized businesses, organizations and kind-hearted individuals to support the "continuing to school" scholarship fund.

To date, the Association has mobilized nearly 180 million VND in support. This amount has been given by the District Education Promotion Association to over 200 poor students and students with especially difficult circumstances. The small gifts at the beginning of the new school year have encouraged the students to overcome difficulties and strive to study well.
