Donated 25 wheelchairs to the disabled in Tan Ky
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 12, Tan Ky District People's Committee and Nghe An Province Association for the Support of Disabled People and Orphans held a ceremony to present 25 wheelchairs to disabled people in the area.
Currently, Tan Ky district has nearly 300 disabled people who need to use wheelchairs to support their daily activities. In recent years, in addition to the support of the Nghe An Province Association for the Disabled and Orphans, along with the mobilization of all levels, sectors and social organizations, Tan Ky district has donated 150 wheelchairs to disabled people in difficult circumstances.

The 25 wheelchairs donated this time have a total value of 75 million VND. These items are sponsored by the American humanitarian wheelchair mission organization The Free Wheelchair Mission and the organization "Give Back Childhood" in Da Nang.
Beneficiaries include wounded and sick soldiers, people infected with the chemical dioxin, people with revolutionary contributions who are disabled, and other cases of social disabilities./.
