Awarding the special project team for arresting 5 subjects illegally trading in drugs
(Baonghean.vn) - On April 20, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Con Cuong district awarded the 318M and 318P Project Teams for their achievements in arresting 5 subjects, seizing 36.65 grams of heroin and 100 synthetic drug pills.
Previously, on March 17, 2018, through the process of investigation, reconnaissance and monitoring of subjects, Project 318M, Con Cuong District Police arrested 5 subjects including: Nguyen Van Thai (born in 1999); Ven Van Giang (born in 1996); Cut Van Doi (born in 1998) and Luong Van Khanh (born in 1999), all residing in Pha Khao village, Pha Danh commune, Ky Son district, who were trading drugs in Con Cuong town.
Evidence seized in the case included: 100 synthetic drug pills; 2 motorbikes and a number of other related evidence.

Then, on March 28, 2018, Con Cuong District Police established Project 318P to secretly monitor and arrest Lo May Phang (born in 1984), residing in Bay village, Nga My commune, Tuong Duong district. Phang is a link in the illegal drug trafficking ring. After a period of ambush and monitoring, at about 2:00 p.m. on March 28, when Lo May Phang was driving a motorbike transporting drugs from Nga My commune, Tuong Duong district to Dinh village, Binh Chuan commune, Con Cuong district, he was approached and arrested by the police. At the scene, the police seized 36.65 grams of heroin.
