(Baonghean.vn) – On the evening of August 28, at the Provincial Labor Culture House, the People's Committee of Nghe An province held a ceremony to commend and award students who achieved national excellent student awards and students who achieved high scores in the 2016 National High School Graduation Exam.

In the 2015-2016 school year, Nghe An had 85 students achieving national excellent student status, ranking among the top in the country, including 7 students winning first prize. Notably, in the 2016 National High School Graduation Exam, Nghe An had 52 students achieving high scores, including many valedictorians of the exam groups.

Among the students with high scores this year, there are not only students from specialized schools, schools in cities, towns, and favorable areas, but also students from rural, mountainous areas, and areas with especially difficult economic conditions such as Do Luong 1 High School, Bac Yen Thanh High School, Tan Ky High School, Con Cuong High School, Thanh Chuong 1...

He suggested that in the coming time, departments, branches, organizations, enterprises, etc., should closely coordinate and pay more attention to the education and training sector, especially promoting the socialization of education; increasing material and spiritual support for poor students who are studious and good at studying so that they have the conditions to study. At the ceremony, 85 national excellent students received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and a total bonus of more than 555 million VND.

52 students with a total score of 27.75 points or more in block A; 28 points or more in block B; 25.75 points or more in block C; 26.5 points or more in block D and 26.75 points or more in block A1/3 subjects in the 2016 national high school graduation exam received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and a total bonus of 520 million VND.
