Effectively implement activities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam folk song heritage being recognized by UNESCO
On the morning of November 12, the Department of Culture and Sports held a meeting to deploy activities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam folk song heritage being recognized by UNESCO.
Comrade Tran Thi My Hanh - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports chaired the meeting. Also attending were representatives of a number of departments, agencies, Vinh city and departments and units under the Department of Culture and Sports.

According to Plan No. 664/KH-UBND dated August 26, 2024 of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, the commemorative activities10 years of Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam folk songs in Nghe An provinceTaking place from November 22 to 25, including: The 10th anniversary of Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam folk songs being recognized by UNESCO; Exhibition "Colors of cultural heritage, nature and traditional handicraft products of Vietnam", Traditional folk art festival "Vietnam - colors of heritage", Lyrics composition contest for Vi and Giam folk songs and other art exchange activities.

Up to now, the Department of Culture and Sports has coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department to hold a press conference on the above activities; assign specific tasks to affiliated departments and units; issue a Plan to organize the Contest for composing and writing lyrics for Nghe Tinh folk songs (up to now, 150 works have been submitted to the contest); develop an overall program; script, design the stage and are implementing the staging of the art program for the anniversary celebration...
At the meeting, after listening to representatives of relevant sectors and departments and units under the Department of Culture and Sports report on the progress of assigned tasks and coordinated activities to prepare for the 10th anniversary of the Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam Folk Heritage being recognized by UNESCO, comrade Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports requested that departments and units continue to closely follow the assigned tasks to ensure progress and effectiveness of activities.

The Director of the Department of Culture and Sports also requested relevant sectors to develop plans to ensure security, order and health for commemorative activities; create favorable conditions for vehicles of mass art troupes from provinces and cities to participate in traffic during the activities; ensure stable power supply during the days of activities according to the plan of the Provincial People's Committee...
