Stealing property in the dormitory, young man fell from the 4th floor to the ground

At 12:30 on July 14, at building K1, student dormitory of Hai Phong University in Kien An district, Hai Phong city, people discovered a young man falling from the 4th floor of an 8-story building to the yard.

Immediately after the incident, school security and district police were present and took the young man to Kien An Hospital for emergency treatment, where he is still in critical condition.

At the scene, the police seized a student's backpack, which contained two laptops, some documents, and a wallet (the young man was wearing it on his shoulder when it fell). The documents, wallet, and laptop were later identified as belonging to a student in room 414.

According to student Nguyen Duc Huy, 19 years old (living in room 414), around the above time, Huy and two roommates came home from lunch and discovered that the door was locked from the inside. Suspecting a thief, they reported it to the school security. When everyone ran up, they discovered a young man running out onto the balcony and then falling to the ground.

At 5:00 p.m. the same day, Kien An District Police said that the young man's health condition was still very critical due to multiple injuries and deep coma, so his identity had not yet been determined.

The case is currently being urgently investigated by Kien An District Police.
