While many universities struggle to enroll, Vietnam-Korea College welcomes nearly 1,000 students
(Baonghean.vn) - In the 2019-2020 school year, the school strives to meet the criteria of a high-quality vocational school, focusing on improving the quality of the teaching staff, professional skills, and foreign languages and information technology of students; innovating management work, and piloting key vocational training at the international level.
On the morning of October 10, Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College held the opening ceremony of the 2019 - 2020 school year.
Attending the ceremony were representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors; universities and colleges in Nghe An province, and enterprises inside and outside the province.

In the past school year, the school has successfully carried out its tasks and basically completed the set targets, such as: High rate of good and excellent students graduating from school; most of them after graduation were introduced to work at economic groups such as Samsung, LG Vietnam, Hung Thinh Formusa Ha Tinh Company... and were highly appreciated for their capacity, skills, ethics and character. In addition, the school also consults and introduces students to work and study abroad in Korea and Japan with stable income.
In the 2019 Provincial Skill Competition, the school won the First Prize for the entire team (3 students won the First Prize, 1 student won the Second Prize). At the Provincial Self-made Training Equipment Competition, the school won the First Prize for the entire team; 6 devices were selected to participate in the National Self-made Training Equipment Competition. The results of all products won prizes, of which 2 excellent devices won high prizes (1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize).
In the startup competitions organized by the Department of Science and Technology and the Provincial Youth Union, the school had 1 product winning the Potential Creative Startup Idea award; 1 product winning the Third Prize and entering the semi-finals organized by the Central Youth Union in October 2019.
In addition, the school has organized scientific research work well for teachers and students; focused on training and improving the professional qualifications of the teaching staff; opened an additional major code for Mechanical Equipment Maintenance to serve the integration and investment process of foreign enterprises in Nghe An province, creating favorable conditions for students to have jobs.

On this occasion, Vietnam - Korea Technical College awarded prizes to 12 excellent teachers and 17 students with excellent achievements in studying and training in the 2018 - 2019 school year.
