Live press conference of MU vs Ipswich Town: Amorim confident of success
Coach Amorim affirmed that it will take 2 years to build a stronger MU, and expressed confidence in the future even though the team is currently in a period of change.
In a press conference before the match between Manchester United (MU) and Ipswich Town, coach Ruben Amorim shared his confident thoughts about his long-term plans at the club. Although aware of the challenges ahead, the Portuguese strategist affirmed that it will take at least 2 years to build a strong and successful MU.

Amorim stressed that United will need time to develop in the direction that he and his coaching staff have outlined. According to him, two years is enough time to assess whether the current strategy is bringing the expected results. "The teams that win the Premier League also need time to improve. Within two years, you will know if the team is on the right track or not," Amorim said.
While he does not deny that the job at United is not easy, Amorim insists that he is the right man for the club at this time. "People may think I am naive, but I believe I am the right man for United and I came here at the right time," he confidently shared. With determination, Amorim believes that bringing United back to the top is completely possible, although it will take time to build and gain the trust of the players.
When asked about tactical adjustments, Amorim said he would make some big changes to the squad and the way MU plays. Specifically, he said the team would change the positions of some players who were recruited to play in a different tactical system. "This weekend, you will feel a lot of changes in the formation and the way the players receive the ball," he affirmed.
