Trump calls US oil production growth 'bad news for Russia'

"Fuel prices are falling in the U.S. because President Trump has lifted the energy restrictions and we are now producing more oil than ever before," the US President wrote on Twitter to the program Fox & Friends.

"However this is bad news for Russia, why would President Trump do this? People think he worked for the Kremlin?" — Trump added.

Earlier, Trump said he hoped the United States and Russia could once again restore good relations, noting that "getting along with Russia is good, not bad."

Currently, oil production in the US continues to increase, but the growth rate is not too fast.
