A 23-meter-high, more than 2,900-meter-long dust-proof net is being assembled at the coal unloading area of ​​Qinhuangdao Port Joint Stock Company in Hebei, China, QQ reported on January 3.

Once completed, it will be paired with a more than 5,000-meter-long barrier net previously installed to surround mineral and coal loading yards at Qinhuangdao port.

At that time, the dust-blocking net system at Qinhuangdao, Caofeidian and Huanghua ports of Hebei province will have a total length of more than 17 km, becoming the largest dust-blocking net project in the world.

They will help prevent dust from the port's operating area, solving the air pollution problem in the area surrounding the staging area.
