China launches new generation rocket
China launched its new generation Long March 7 rocket from its new space center in Wenchang city, Hainan province, on June 25, Xinhua news agency reported.

According to the announcement, the Long March 7 rocket left the launch pad at 8:00 p.m. (Beijing time).
Ten minutes later, the rocket's cargo compartment separated from the booster and entered orbit with a lowest point of 200km and a highest point of 394km.
The Long March 7 is a medium-lift rocket that uses liquid fuel and can carry up to 13.5 tons of cargo. It belongs to a new rocket family, including the heavy-lift Long March 5 rocket and the medium-light-lift Long March 6 rocket.
