China: First Wearable Laser Projector Launched

ASU Cast One Smartwatch has become the world's first smartwatch with Laser projection capabilities.
Simply put, you can use this watch to project anything you want on a flat surface such as movies, images, games, text, presentations like a normal projector. You can even watch 720p HD resolution online videos with this smartwatch.

ASU's device uses the world's smallest laser projection optical module for projected image sizes ranging from 2 inches to 60 inches. The image resolution is 1280 x 600 pixels and supports video with a maximum resolution of 720p.
According to the manufacturer, the optimal distance between the device and the projection screen is from 1.5cm to 2cm. ASU also added that the projection technology on the ASU Cast One is more advanced than traditional DLP projectors today.

In terms of configuration, ASU Cast One runs on a Qualcomm APQ8026 quad-core processor with 768MB RAM, 4GB RAM, 740mAh battery and Android 5.1 operating system. Besides projecting images, you can connect to your smartphone to answer calls, check notifications or connect to Wi-Fi and run some applications.
The current selling price of ASU Cast One in China is 2,999 yuan, equivalent to 10.2 million VND. This is quite a high price but very worthy of the technology that this special device brings.
