On the afternoon of September 13, Cua Lo Town Medical Center held a ceremony to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of the Department of Health, leaders of Cua Lo Town and medical units in the province.

Recently, Cua Lo Town Medical Center has made continuous efforts to exceed the assigned targets, with a bed capacity of 115 - 130%. The center has developed high-quality human resources, invested in many equipments, successfully implemented a number of new techniques such as laparoscopic obstetric surgery, orthopedic trauma surgery, emergency resuscitation; built 5/7 wards to meet national medical standards.

Speaking at the ceremony, the leaders of Nghe An Department of Health praised the achievements and efforts of Cua Lo Town Medical Center over the past 25 years and expressed their wish that the Center would continuously improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, enhance medical ethics, innovate service style and attitude towards the satisfaction of patients and people; perform well preventive medicine work; effectively implement population work - family planning; build national standards for health in the remaining 2 wards.
