Center back Ho Khac Luong: On the journey to become the 'second Que Ngoc Hai'

After shining for the U18 and U19 Vietnam teams in regional and continental tournaments, Ho Khac Luong was loaned to Phu Dong Club to play in the 2020 National Second Division. The excellence of the player from Quynh Luu (Nghe An) contributed significantly to helping the Thanh Tri Stadium (Hanoi) team win the promotion ticket.

Because it is not in the plan of team 1Lam River Nghe An, so Ho Khac Luong had to pack his bags and leave Vinh Stadium to look for opportunities to play, in order to gain more experience. Immediately, the favorite student of Coach Philippe Troussier continued to be "welcomed with open arms" by Phu Dong Club, with a loan contract until the end of this season.

Not only good at reading situations and one-on-one disputes, the player wearing the number 22 shirt also often launches long passes with quite high accuracy. Witnessing what Ho Khac Luong is doing in the Phu Dong Club shirt, many people will think of central defender Que Ngoc Hai, the current captain of the Vietnam National Team.

Up to now, Ho Khac Luong has been fully used by coach Nguyen Trung Kien in all 6 matches of Phu Dong Club in the first phase of the 2021 National First Division (5 matches) and the 2021 National Cup (1 match), equivalent to 540 minutes. It is worth mentioning that since the beginning of the season until now, the Thanh Tri home team has not conceded any goals.
