Head of the Central Organizing Committee highly appreciated the unity and solidarity in personnel work of Nghe An.

On the afternoon of January 31, Comrade Pham Minh Chinh - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission, as head of the delegation, had a working session with the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.

Also attending were Party Central Committee members: Nguyen Thanh Binh - Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee; Nguyen Dac Vinh - Deputy Head of the Party Central Office.

On the provincial side, there were comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Xuan Son - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.

During the working program, on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2020) and towards the 130th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, comrade Pham Minh Chinh - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee visited the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site to offer flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh.

Deploy congress preparations as planned

At the working session with the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Xuan Son reported to the working delegation on the results of the implementation of socio-economic, national defense and security tasks in 2019; the implementation of the Central Committee's resolutions on Party building and organization work and the implementation of Directive 35 of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 13th National Congress of the Party.

Accordingly, Nghe An is implementing preparations according to the plan such as: Issuing notices and instructions on Party congresses at all levels; establishing sub-committees to serve the 19th Provincial Party Congress; ...

Nghe An has selected 4 subordinate Party Committees and 86 grassroots Party organizations to direct the model congress. The Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee is directing the drafting of documents for the 19th Provincial Party Congress; directing the review of planning, perfecting cadres, creating a basis for preparing personnel work for the new Party Committee term.

Promoting the people's hearts and minds

Regarding personnel work, Head of the Central Organization Committee Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the unity, solidarity, fighting spirit, and seriousness in the work of arranging and planning personnel; ensuring both democracy and discipline and principles, and suggested continuing to promote it.

In addition, the province needs to continue to lead the implementation of the resolution's goals for the 2015-2020 term, prepare for the direction and the next term, focusing on building the province's socio-economic development strategy with the viewpoint of relying on internal resources as the main, fundamental, strategic, and long-term; identifying external resources as important and breakthrough.

"In socio-economic development, we must closely follow the practical situation, respect reality, and take reality as the truth for development," comrade Pham Minh Chinh suggested.

In addition, the province must maintain political stability. Wherever there are hot spots, the head of the Party Committee must appear, maintain dialogue with the people and resolve the issue thoroughly; at the same time, continue to build a national defense posture, a people's security posture and, especially importantly, cultivate and promote the people's hearts to maintain political stability, and prevent hot spots and sudden, unexpected situations from occurring.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee also requested the province to continue to pay attention to implementing well the Central Resolution 4 (term XI, XII) in conjunction with Directive 05 of the Politburo, Regulations on setting examples; implementing resolutions on arranging and organizing the apparatus; building the staff.

In carrying out tasks, especially in the more difficult, sensitive and complicated tasks, comrade Pham Minh Chinh also suggested that the province continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, democracy, openness, transparency, promote collective intelligence and promote the role of leaders.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee also requested the province to well implement the four contents of Directive 35 of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 13th National Congress of the Party.

Accepting the opinions of comrade Pham Minh Chinh, comrade Thai Thanh Quy promised to well implement the instructions of the Head of the Central Organizing Committee, including building the documents of the Provincial Party Congress, the 5-year and 10-year socio-economic development plans; paying attention to carefully discussing in the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee, and the Provincial People's Council the mechanism to promote internal resources and attract external resources.

Inheriting the results and achievements in 2019, the province will continue to maintain political security, order and social safety; pay attention to building a good team; share, collaborate, take the strength of the collective and common interests to lead and direct the development of the province; focus on successfully organizing the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term.
