(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 19, Trung Do Secondary School (Vinh City) held a ceremony to receive the national standard title. Attending the ceremony were comrade Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee, along with representatives of the local government, generations of teachers and students of the school through the periods.

Since its establishment, Trung Do Secondary School has achieved many proud titles and achievements. In the 1979-1980 school year, the school was recognized as the unit with the best Moral Education Movement for students, and the school's "Blue Bird" Youth Team was recognized by the Ministry of Public Security. From 1998 to 2000, the school achieved the title of advanced at the Provincial and City levels. In 2002, the school was recognized as a "Cultural Unit" by the Vinh City People's Committee. In the 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 school years, the Provincial People's Committee awarded a Certificate of Merit for excellent performance; the school's Trade Union was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Provincial Labor Federation for outstanding achievements.

Receiving the title of National Standard School, the collective of staff, teachers, students as well as parents in Trung Do and neighboring wards are really excited. This is an important motivation for the school's efforts in the following years.
