Huynh Thuc Khang High School lowered its benchmark scores, nearly 50 students were called to take additional exams.
This afternoon (July 20), Huynh Thuc Khang High School announced the second admission list. The first admission score dropped as students only needed more than 7 points/subject to be admitted.
Previously, the school's first admission score was 23.50 points. However, in this second reduction of the benchmark, the benchmark score is only 21.5 points, the lowest in many years. At the same time, 49 students have been called to take additional exams.

The benchmark score of Huynh Thuc Khang High School was predicted, because in this year's admission period, more than 400 students who applied to the school requested to transfer their applications to other schools after completing the exam. In addition, hundreds of other students, although admitted to Huynh Thuc Khang High School, later enrolled in Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted and Vinh University High School for the Gifted, so the school had to call more students to meet the assigned quota.
This afternoon, Huynh Thuc Khang High School also announced the first round of advanced program benchmark scores of 20.2 points and 204 students were admitted.

Today, Le Viet Thuat High School also announced the admission score for the advanced program is up to 19.30 points.
Meanwhile, according to the school's announcement yesterday, the school has lowered the traditional admission score from 21.65 to 21.10 points and 63 additional students have been recruited.
As for Ha Huy Tap High School, after lowering the admission score for the second time, the school announced that it had completed the confirmation of admission for students who passed their first and second choices with 810 quotas. The number of students who did not enroll was only 1 because they had gone to study abroad.
The first admission score for the school's advanced class is 19.2 points.
