Tan Ky High School celebrates 50th anniversary

(Baonghean.vn) - On November 15, Tan Ky High School held a ceremony to celebrate its 50th anniversary (1965 - 2015) and received the certificate of recognition as a National Standard School.

Attending the ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Le Minh Thong - Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Vo Viet Thanh - Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee, along with leaders of provincial departments, branches, Tan Ky district and generations of teachers and students of the school.

Tan Ky High School was established in 1965. After 50 years of establishment and development, the school has achieved many noble awards in various fields: the President awarded the Third Class Labor Medal in 2005, for 5 consecutive years (2011 - 2015) the Prime Minister, the Minister of Education and Training awarded the Certificate of Merit, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the Emulation Flag; is one of 8 high schools in the province awarded by the Director of the Department of Education and Training as a typical advanced collective of the Education sector in the period 2010 - 2015; recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as a school meeting national standards.
