Manhunt for murder suspect who may have fled to China

Local police are on the move, coordinating with Border Guard stations to block roads, to prevent the perpetrator from fleeing to China.

On the night of July 15, at house number 141 Chu Van An street, Quang Ha town, Hai Ha district, Quang Ninh province, a serious murder case occurred, resulting in the death of a woman.

The victim was Ms. Hong Thi Thuy (born in 1985), daughter of Mr. Hong Van Son, owner of house number 141 Chu Van An street where the murder took place. The perpetrator was initially identified as Hoang Van Bang (born in 1968), residing in Cai Duoc village, Quang Phong commune, Hai Ha district.

According to initial information, the perpetrator and the victim previously had a romantic relationship and had children together.

Before the murder, Bang and Ms. Thuy had an argument. Unable to keep calm, Bang used a knife to slash Ms. Thuy many times, causing the victim to die on the spot. After committing the crime, Hoang Van Bang fled the scene.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Xuan Dung, Deputy Chief of Hai Ha District Police, Quang Ninh Province, said that local police are currently moving to Mong Cai, coordinating with Border Guard stations to block roads, in case the perpetrator could flee to China.

Currently, the authorities are trying to find the perpetrator and investigate the cause of the case.
