Media support to bring agricultural production households to e-commerce platforms
(Baonghean.vn) - The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 536/KH-UBND to support communication to bring agricultural production households to the e-commerce platform of Nghe An province to promote the digital economy of agriculture and rural areas, and boost the consumption of agricultural products of Nghe An province.
With the message "Enhancing the value of Vietnamese agricultural products through digital trade platforms", the Provincial People's Committee requires close, synchronous and effective coordination between press and media agencies, relevant agencies and units, agricultural production households and large postal enterprises to implement the Plan.
At the same time, do a good job of communication on mass media with many diverse forms such as: Print newspapers, radio, television, electronic newspapers, electronic information portals, electronic information pages, social networks, Fanpages of agencies, units, district-level radio stations, grassroots information systems, foreign information, training, banners...

The content focuses on propagating policies of the Government, Ministry of Information and Communications, Provincial People's Committee and information related to supporting agricultural production households to become industrialized.e-commerce platform; benefits of selling on e-commerce platforms and digital retail channels for agricultural production households to register booths and participate in transactions on e-commerce platforms.
Along with that, providing information on agricultural products and goods in the area that need to be consumed; guiding people to order goods on e-commerce platforms; transporting goods to buyers' addresses; communicating and promoting agricultural products of Nghe An province on e-commerce platforms; sharing experiences and e-commerce skills.

The Provincial People's Committee assigns the Department of Information and Communications to direct and guide press and media agencies, postal and telecommunications enterprises in the area to implement the contents of this Plan. Communication objectives to householdsagricultural productionin the province; communicate to consumers in the province, outside the province and abroad.

Previously, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee issued Document No. 2345/UBND-TH on implementing the plan to bring agricultural production households to e-commerce platforms in 2022.
Accordingly, the target of the plan in 2022 is 100OCOP products(traditional products, with advantages in rural areas) that meet the criteria of 3 stars or higher are listed on the two e-commerce platforms Postmart of Vietnam Post Corporation at https://postmart.vn and Voso platform of Viettel Post Corporation at https://voso.vn.
In addition, 100% of agricultural production households with products on e-commerce platforms are trained in digital skills, business skills, and other skills to increase knowledge of sales and online payments on digital platforms; increase the number of visitors and activities on e-commerce platforms by 15-20%.
