From today, May 1st, connection fees between two mobile networks will be reduced.
From today (May 1), connection rates between two mobile networks will begin to decrease according to Circular 48/2017/TT-BTTTT.
Circular 48 provides new regulations on connection rates for calls from fixed telecommunications networks to mobile networks and connection rates for calls between two mobile networks.

Accordingly, the connection fee from network operators to Viettel is 400 VND/minute; the connection fee from network operators to VNPT Vinaphone, MobiFone, Vietnamobile and Gtel is 440 VND/minute.
In addition, the call connection fee from the local network to the mobile network is reduced to 320 VND/minute (the old regulation is 415 VND/minute).
Previously, the call connection fee between two mobile networks was applied at the rate of 500 - 550 VND/minute.
Thus, the connection fee between mobile networks is reduced by about 20% and it is expected that in the near future, the off-network mobile fee for users will be reduced accordingly.
Currently, the off-net call rate for postpaid customers is 980 - 990 VND/minute and for prepaid customers is from 1,190 - 1,790 VND/minute (depending on each network's package).
