(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2022), the 45th anniversary of the signing of the Vietnam - Laos Friendship and Cooperation Treaty (July 18, 1977 - July 18, 2022), the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Laos diplomatic relations (September 5, 1962 - September 5, 2022), on the evening of July 26, at the Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery (Anh Son district), the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union held a candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs with the participation of more than 400 union members and young people.

The Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery in Anh Son District is the resting place of nearly 11,000 martyrs, the outstanding sons of 47 provinces and cities across the country who sacrificed their lives on the battlefields of Laos for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, and for the noble international duty. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, together with Party committees and authorities at all levels, the Youth Union has undertaken more than 100 youth projects and tasks; mobilized the donation of 10,000 gifts, organized dozens of medical examinations, provided free medicine, and provided health care for war invalids, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs, and people with meritorious services to the revolution; thousands of forums, pilgrimages to traditional education red addresses were held enthusiastically, movingly, and proudly.
