'Party's statement on anti-corruption is not empty talk'
Public opinion has clearly seen the Party's declaration that the fight against corruption will spare no one and there are no 'no-go zones' and it is not just empty words.
The conclusion of the Central Inspection Commission after the 14th session, which proposed to consider disciplinary action against the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN) in the period 2009-2015 and a number of related individuals, has received positive feedback from the public. Pointing out the violations of collectives and individuals has shown the determination and courage of the Party in pointing out the factors that undermine the public's trust in the Party.

Mr. Do Van Lac. |
Mr. Do Van Lac, former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Banking Magazine, said that the conclusion of the Central Inspection Committee has contributed to relieving the long-standing frustrations and expectations of public opinion. It can be seen that the determination to fight corruption and clean up the Party's internal affairs is extremely strong.
Previously, the Party had done this but not thoroughly, causing public opinion to be skeptical. However, the conclusion of the Central Inspection Commission at the 14th session has partly dispelled those doubts, giving people strong confidence that wrongdoings by leaders, regardless of their level, will be severely punished.
The Party's statement that the fight against corruption will spare no one and there will be no "no-go zones" is not just empty talk. The people welcome, agree with and believe that the fight against corruption will not stop, but will "clean up" from the grassroots, commune and ward levels up to the highest levels. Knowing that this is an extremely difficult fight, the people hope that with perseverance and determination, the Party will successfully lead the fight against corruption, bringing benefits to the country and the people.

Mr. Nguyen Ba Dang. |
For Mr. Nguyen Ba Dang, 40 years old in the Party (in Nguyen Ngoc Nai, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi), the recent conclusion of the Central Inspection Committee shows that the Party has considered and evaluated his comrade's violations very closely and closely, in addition to the strictness of the law, it also demonstrates humanity.
All evidence of an officer's wrongdoing has been carefully considered.
The people strongly agree and support the determination to clean up the Party, but also hope that this determination will be carried out thoroughly, strictly, without any "no-go zones", without leaving anyone out. Only then can we regain the people's trust in the Party. If we only propagate without concrete measures and actions, it will be difficult to regain the people's trust.
“The conclusion of the Central Inspection Commission shows that the Central Inspection Commission has been very frank, serious and also very brave in pointing out the violations of Party members and officials, demonstrating a resolute determination to fight against corruption. It can be said that in order to reach this conclusion, the Central Inspection Commission had to go through a process of careful review and assessment, clearly recognizing that there were violations that needed to be handled according to the provisions of the law.
However, public opinion is concerned about the level of violation, how the units and individuals will be handled, and the handling results must be made public for the people to know," said National Assembly delegate of Hanoi Do Duc Hong Ha./.
