The Quynh Tan - Quynh Van route is seriously degraded.
(Baonghean.vn) - The road surface is seriously degraded, flooding on rainy days and dusty on sunny days, causing difficulties for people and vehicles, which is the current state of the road from Quynh Tan to Quynh Van (Quynh Luu).
According to many people living in the area, the road from village 6, Quynh Tan commune to Quynh Van is about 1,000m long and has a high density of people and vehicles passing through every day. Currently, the road has degraded, so every time people pass by, they are afraid of traffic accidents that may occur.
"On average, every 5 minutes a truck carrying rocks passes by, so the road surface has cracked quite a bit, causing dust and obstructing the view of passersby. Many times while driving my motorbike, I had to stop because the sand and dust flew into my eyes," said Mr. Ho Sy Manh in village 7, Quynh Tan commune.

The main cause of dust is from vehicles carrying materials from Quynh Tan quarry, about 1km from the road.
Not only worrying about the risk of accidents happening at any time, people here often have to live in an environment polluted by dust and noise when every day this road has to bear the burden of dozens of heavy trucks running from early morning to late at night.
Some families living close to the road always have to keep their doors closed, but dust still covers their houses. On rainy days, water stagnates in the potholes, which are like traps for passersby. The layers of stagnant mud make the road slippery and muddy.

According to Mr. Ho Minh Mau - Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Tan Commune (Quynh Luu), after receiving feedback from local people, the commune worked with the stone mining units, and the units filled the potholes with soil. However, this is only a temporary solution, because there are no drainage ditches on both sides of the road, so when it rains, the water stagnates and floods the road regularly.
While waiting for local authorities and relevant units to find a solution to completely resolve the above situation, every day, people still have to live in a polluted environment and face the risk of traffic accidents when traveling on this route./.
