Vietnam women's team to compete with the richest players in the world
US players Julie Ertz, Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe are three of the richest female soccer players in the world.

According to statistics ofSportsMonkie, Alex Morgan ranked 4th in the group of 10 richest female soccer players in the world with a total asset of 4.6 million USD. Julie Ertz ranked right behind (5th) with a total asset of 4.5 million USD while Megan Rapinoe ranked 6th with a total asset of 3.7 million USD.
As of April, Alex, Julie and Megan earned $450,000, $430,000 and $447,000 respectively. All three are pillars of the US women's team with many prestigious individual and team titles.
Alex is the top scorer for the US women's team with 121 goals in about 206 appearances. Like Alex, Megan has participated in 3 Women's World Cups and if nothing changes, they will participate in their 4th World Cup this year. However, both are quite old (Alex was born in 1989, Megan was born in 1985).
Second and third are French players Amandine Henry ($7 million) and Wendie Renard ($7 million). Brazil's Marta leads the list with $13 million. The US women's team also has Carli Lloyd in the top 10 richest female soccer players in the world with $3.3 million, but she has retired from the national team and will not be participating in the 2023 Women's World Cup.
The US women's team is in Group E with Vietnam, the Netherlands and Portugal. Compared to the Vietnam women's team, a World Cup newcomer, the US, the Netherlands and Portugal are all too strong.
