Propagating the harmful effects of "laughing gas" during the Youth Month activities

On March 9, Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union Pham Tuan Vinh said: To prevent the problem of "laughing gas" from penetrating young people, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union has directed grassroots youth organizations in the whole province to step up propaganda work on the harmful effects of using "laughing gas" and shisha (especially among students) during the March Youth Union meeting.

The propaganda content follows Official Dispatch No. 806/UBND-TD dated February 1, 2019 of the Provincial People's Committee on the prevention and control of illegal activities, production, trading and use of "laughing gas" in the province. The propaganda materials are prepared by the Provincial Youth Union's Propaganda Department, encouraging propaganda forms such as dramatization, questions and answers... Besides "laughing gas", it also focuses on propaganda to prevent drowning for children and many other important contents.
Nghe An currently has 9,851 Youth Union branches and 1,248 affiliated Youth Union bases, including 480 commune, ward and town Youth Unions with nearly 180,000 members and more than 435,000 youths. The Youth Union's activities were directed by Nghe An Provincial Youth Union to be carried out simultaneously on March 9-10, 2019 and will be proactively implemented by grassroots Youth Union organizations in March with many diverse activities, creating a healthy and useful playground for young people.
