U13 Song Lam Nghe An is in the 'death group' at the final round of the National Youth Tournament

On the afternoon of July 2, in Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province, the drawing ceremony for the 2024 National Youth Championship took place.

At the end of the qualifying round, U13 Song Lam Nghe An won all the matches in Group B of the Central region. With this achievement, coach Le Van Hung's team entered the final round as the group's top team.

The final round was held in Dak Lak province, with 16 participating teams including: Bac Giang, The Cong-Viettel, PVF-CAND, Hanoi, HADUWACO Hai Duong, Song Lam Nghe An, Quang Nam, LPBank Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Binh Dinh, SHB Da Nang, Dak Lak, Can Tho, Tay Ninh, Navy Phu Nhuan - Ho Chi Minh City, Gia Dinh and Khanh Hoa.

The teams are divided into 4 groups to compete in a round robin to determine rankings. The 8 teams ranked first and second in the 4 groups will compete in the Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Finals.

At the draw ceremony, Song Lam Nghe An was in group B with U13 LPBank Hoang Anh Gia Lai, U13 Hanoi and U13 Gia Dinh. This is considered the group of death with the appearance of 3 traditional football training centers: U13 LPBank Hoang Anh Gia Lai, U13 Hanoi and U13 Song Lam Nghe An.

According to the announced match schedule, U13 Song Lam Nghe An will have their opening match against U13 LPBank Hoang Anh Gia Lai on the morning of July 3.

The final round will take place from July 3 to 13 at Dak Lak Provincial Stadium and the Central Stadium in Buon Ma Thuot City.
