U19 Vietnam empty-handed; U19 Indonesia “dreams” of World Cup
After three matches in the group stage, U19 Vietnam did not gain any points, accepting to leave the tournament in Indonesia empty-handed.

Despite playing impressively in the final match against U19 Korea, a series of unnecessary mistakes caused coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his team to accept a 1-3 defeat.
Throughout the 90 minutes, U19 Vietnam played on par with their opponents, with many situations causing trouble for the goal of the Korean team. However, 3 penalty situations extinguished the hope of the red team to gain points. Despite losing, U19 Vietnam showed great effort in the farewell match of the 2018 U19 Asian Cup.

In Group B and Group C, U19 Japan and U19 Korea showed their dominance. In Group A, there were 3 teams with 6 points and U19 UAE accepted to leave the game due to inferior sub-index.
At 7:00 p.m. today (October 26), the last two matches in Group D will determine the last ticket to the Quarterfinals of the U19 Asian Cup. While U19 Saudi Arabia has secured a place in the next round, the remaining ticket will be the competition between U19 Malaysia and U19 Tajikistan.
