U22 Vietnam: The boys like to like and... dress up
After scoring, most of the U22 Vietnam players ran towards the camera to… “act”. They wanted to record memorable moments, not necessarily “show off” to the press and fans.
At the SEA Games, Vietnam’s press force is famously numerous, perhaps second only to the host team. At this year’s SEA Games, with football in particular, photojournalists jokingly said they had a “good harvest” of beautiful goal celebration photos.
After 3 matches in the group stage against East Timor, Cambodia and the Philippines, U22 Vietnam scored 12 goals. It is worth mentioning that in most of these goals, the players did not run towards the coaching staff to celebrate like the girls in the women's football team, but ran very beautifully towards the camera lenses of dozens of reporters sitting in the corner kick flag area.

Van Hau is the U22 Vietnam player who scored the first goal at SEA Games 29 in the opening match. He had a very unique celebration. |
Each player has a different way of celebrating, for example, Cong Phuong often screams and punches the sky, or Van Hau likes to kiss the chest, Van Thanh likes to post hearts...
Regardless of how they celebrate their goals, they all contribute to creating special emotions for each match. Hopefully, in the next matches, especially the two matches against Indonesia and Thailand, the U22 Vietnam players will continue to "perform" in their own style.
Let's see the goal celebrations of the U22 Vietnam players:
