Ukraine proposes new way to buy Russian gas
On the air of the TV channel "112 Ukraine", Representative of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky Andrei Gerus proposed a new way to buy Russian gas.
Specifically, Mr. Gerus suggested that the leaders of the “Opposition Platform for Life” Yuriy Boyko and Viktor Medvedchuk create a private company that could enter into an agreement with Gazprom and supply gas to Ukraine.

“To do that they don’t need the government, nor the new president, nor the former president, but they need to buy gas, bring it to Ukraine and sell it. We will all welcome it and say thank you,” said Mr. Gerus.
Mr. Gerus also added that during the trip to Russia, Boyko and Medvedchuk should immediately sign a contract with Moscow.
“If Mr. Boyko and Mr. Medvedchuk agree on a certain gas price, they should immediately put these agreements on paper and sign the agreement,” Mr. Gerus noted.
