Ukraine did not inform US about attacks on Russian airport
The White House said Ukraine did not notify the United States in advance of the attacks on the Russian airport.

According to RIA Novosti, White House press secretary Carolin Leavitt said that Ukraine did not warn US President Donald Trump about attacks on Russian airports.
“There was no such thing,” Ms. Leavitt said in response to a question about whether President Trump had been informed in advance by the Kiev government.
A day earlier, press secretary Levitt was asked to give the US leader's reaction to what had happened. According to her, President Donald Trump said the war should be stopped.
Earlier, on June 1, the Russian Defense Ministry reported terrorist attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine using drones on five military airfields. All Ukrainian attacks in the Ivanovo, Ryazan and Amur regions were repelled. Fires at facilities in the Murmansk and Irkutsk regions were extinguished, with no casualties. Several people involved in the raids were detained.
Russia said the head of the Ukrainian government was responsible for the terrorist attacks.
“To all those who are worried and waiting for retribution. You need to worry, because retribution is inevitable,” Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, said on his Telegram channel on June 4.
Mr. Medvedev added that the Russian army is actively advancing into the special military operation area, continuing the offensive and “those who should be destroyed will disappear.”
Although Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described the strikes on five Russian airports as a “complete success,” the Economist commented that Kiev feared the attack would worsen its relations with the West. “One Ukrainian official admitted that the operation risked driving Western partners away from Kiev,” the publication said.
