Ukraine declares World War 3 enters active phase

World War III is underway, and has even moved from a mixed stage to an active one, said Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexei Danilov.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine believes that the events taking place in the world will not stop; at the same time, he affirmed that the view that "World War III has not begun is wrong".

“And if someone thinks that this confrontation is only between Russia and Ukraine, then it is a big mistake. Everything is much more complicated,” Danilov said, noting that the conflict in Ukraine is not the last conflict in the world, but will change the role of many world institutions, even the United Nations.

Mr. Danilov argued that Ukraine’s “persistence” showed the need and urgency for the country to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). He believed that Ukraine would strengthen NATO.

Mr. Danilov also said that holding presidential and parliamentary elections in Ukraine could lead to instability in the country.

For its part, Russia has repeatedly warned of the risk of World War III. Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev stated that the West's increased arms supplies to Ukraine "cannot lead to anything other than a dead end and the approaching World War III."

Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned that World War 3 would be a nuclear war between major powers. This would be a disaster for humanity.
