These days, Bui Nguyen Long's family is filled with joy from the sharing of his brothers and neighbors. Born and raised in Hamlet 2, Dang Son Commune, Bui Nguyen Long is known as a well-behaved, studious boy. Long's father often works far away, and his mother is a teacher at Bac Son Kindergarten, so she is very busy with schoolwork. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh - Bui Nguyen Long's mother shared: "My parents are busy but are very happy that my son has a sense of independence and studiousness early on. In addition to studying at school, when he comes home, he diligently searches for types of questions, solutions, and discusses his work with his friends."

Long's family has 2 brothers, Long is the youngest, his older brother is Bui Nguyen Duy, born in 1995, studying at the People's Police Academy. Long's older brother also has impressive academic achievements. During his high school years, Bui Nguyen Duy won first prize in Geography organized by the province and won second prize in Geography at the national excellent student competition. Following his brother's example, Long tries to study well to realize his dream of becoming a good doctor. Long is good at all subjects, for many years in a row, he has been a comprehensive student and an excellent student at school.

Participating in the national high school exam this year, Bui Nguyen Long registered for the B block exam to enter the Hanoi Military Medical Academy and Hanoi Medical University with 27.8 points: Math 9, Chemistry 9.4 and Biology 9.4. With this score, he is the candidate with the highest exam score at Do Luong 1 High School and is in the top 100 students with the highest B block exam scores nationwide.
