Nghe An Fatherland Front Committee attends national meeting in the third quarter of 2021
(Baonghean.vn) - At the meeting, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien requested that Fatherland Front Committees at all levels need to innovate the Front's activities in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
On the morning of October 15, in Hanoi, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held a conference to review the Front's work in the third quarter of 2021. The conference was held online to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of 63 provinces and cities.
Chairing the Conference at the Central bridge point was Mr. Do Van Chien, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

More than 20,646 billion VND to support epidemic prevention and control work
In the third quarter of 2021, the pandemicCovid-19There are many complex and unpredictable developments, seriously affecting all socio-economic lives, production and business activities of enterprises and people.
Promoting its role and tasks, the Fatherland Front at all levels has implemented many practical activities, spreading the Party and State's policies to the people. In particular, it has mobilized the solidarity, consensus and support of all classes of people and businesses to participate in the fight against the epidemic, promptly supporting people facing difficulties due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to the preliminary summary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, from May 1, 2021 to October 14, 2021, the Central Committee of member organizations and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and cities, the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund, the total amount of funds and materials mobilized was more than 20,646 billion VND.
Of which, the amount received through the Vietnam Fatherland Front system and its member organizations is 11,862 billion VND; through the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund is 8,784.4 billion VND.

The conference focused on discussing a number of issues, pointing out what has been done, what has not been done, and what exists in the implementation of activities. In particular, it clearly reported on the work of mobilizing and supporting people; mobilizing all resources to prevent the Covid-19 epidemic; implementing the Government's social security policy and proposing solutions to implement tasks in the fourth quarter of 2021.

Discussing at the conference, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province said: In the third quarter, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province and socio-political organizations effectively and flexibly implemented activities in accordance with the functions and tasks of the organization and the political tasks of the locality, in accordance with the Covid-19 epidemic situation.
In particular, the establishment of the Front's electronic information page has been effective in promoting propaganda work on the Front's Fanpage and Facebook page.
To date, 242.22 billion VND has been mobilized to support the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic. Effectively implementing livelihood models to support poor and near-poor households to escape poverty sustainably for 20 districts, towns and units with a total budget of 10 billion VND.
Innovation in operations
Concluding the conference, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - Comrade Do Van Chien acknowledged and highly appreciated the activities of the Fatherland Front at all levels, especially promoting the role in the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic.
Deploying tasks in the coming time, comrade Do Van Chien suggested that the Fatherland Front at all levels should focus on implementing the Resolution of the 3rd Party Congress and ResolutionParty Congressat all levels. The Fatherland Front at all levels needs to proactively implement activities of "Peak Month for the Poor",“Tet for the poor”In 2021, make sure everyone, every family has Tet.
At the same time, deploy activities to celebrate the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2021) to ensure practicality, effectiveness, and safety in epidemic prevention and control.
The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front requested that the Fatherland Front at all levels continue to mobilize people in the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, mobilizing people to compete in studying, working creatively, successfully implementing economic, cultural and social development goals, and maintaining national defense and security.
Besides, pay attention to monitoring the implementation of Party regulations on cadres, party members, cadre work and other issues of public concern.

To improve the effectiveness of its work, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels need to innovate their activities in the spirit of the 13th National Party Congress Resolution.
Accordingly, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will develop a curriculum, organize training on skills and handling situations for front officials; promote the application of information technology, implement digitalization in the activities of the Fatherland Front; and amend Joint Resolution 525 issued in 2012.
