Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee presents charity houses to poor households in Nghe An province

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 25, the working delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City organized the handover of charity houses to people in difficult circumstances in Nghi Loc district and Cua Lo town.

The delegation visited and handed overcharity housefor families: Mrs. Mai Thi Ve in hamlet 9, Nghi Van commune (Nghi Loc); Mr. Nguyen Van Duong, block 1, Nghi Hoa ward (Cua Lo town).

These are 2 out of 10 poor households in Nghe An (including 6 households in Nghi Loc district, 2 households in Dien Chau district, 2 households in Cua Lo town) that wereVietnam Fatherland Front CommitteeHo Chi Minh City supports the construction of charity houses.

At the handover ceremony, Mr. Pham Minh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee congratulated and encouraged the households receiving the houses, hoping that the households would try to overcome difficulties to improve their lives; at the same time, thanked the leaders of the localities and Nghe An province for their good coordination in implementing the program.

Comrade Le Van Ngoc - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province expressed his concern and shared the difficulties of the working delegation of the Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to the locality, thanking the sponsor, TTC Group, for supporting the implementation costs.

Supporting the construction of charity houses for poor households in especially difficult circumstances is a very meaningful activity, demonstrating the kindness of philanthropists joining hands to share, help and create motivation to help poor households in Nghe An province soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

This is a joint program between the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee, the Southern Working Committee - Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society and TTC Group.

The number of charity houses built is 50 (50 million VND/house), with a total cost of 2.5 billion VND in the provinces of Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Binh Dinh and Phu Yen.
