The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province commented on the Draft Political Report of the 19th Provincial Party Committee to be submitted to the 20th Provincial Party Congress.

Attending the conference were comrade Pham Trong Hoang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee, Standing member of the Sub-committee of the 20th Provincial Party Congress documents; together with leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Party Committees: Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee; Organization Committee; Internal Affairs Committee; Provincial Party Committee Office and representatives of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Party Agencies, and member organizations of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Vice Chairmen of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee: Nguyen Duc Thanh and Phan Sy Cuong chaired the conference.

At the conference, delegates gave their opinions on the assessment of the implementation results of the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025; Directions and goals for the term 2025 - 2030 and key tasks and solutions.

Regarding the results of implementing the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025, delegates gave opinions and suggestions on the leadership and direction of socio-economic development, national defense, security, foreign affairs; Party building and political system; limitations, weaknesses and causes; general assessment of the period 2020 - 2025 and lessons learned.

Regarding the target direction, delegates gave their opinions on the goals by 2030, Nghe An will be a fairly developed province in the country (in the group of 15 provinces and cities with the largest GRDP scale, with high average income) and by 2045, Nghe An will be a province with high income, comprehensive development, civilization and modernity...

Regarding the main tasks and solutions, delegates gave their opinions on the following contents: innovating leadership and direction; focusing on perfecting institutions and operating mechanisms of agencies and organizations in the political system, meeting development requirements in the new stage.

Innovating the growth model associated with restructuring the economy, creating breakthroughs, accelerating rapid and sustainable economic development; focusing on investing in building synchronous and modern infrastructure, developing urban systems and promoting new rural construction; synchronously developing cultural and social fields.

Delegates also gave opinions and forecasted opportunities, advantages, difficulties and challenges in the coming years affecting the implementation of the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress.

Participating in giving comments, comrade Hoang Viet Duong - former Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council said that the household economy and private economy are making great contributions to the development of the locality, the state budget, creating jobs for local workers, and contributing to ensuring social security. Therefore, it is necessary to supplement the assessment and include indicators on the development of the household economy and private economy in the report.

Comrade Nguyen Van Long - former Head of the Religious Affairs Committee, Department of Home Affairs suggested paying attention to supplementing assessments as well as directions and goals related to the economy, society and environment in rural and mountainous areas; especially, the state of environmental pollution and the classification and treatment of household waste in these areas.

Delegates also proposed adding a strategy for science and technology development and digital transformation, emphasizing the development and application of artificial intelligence (AI) in learning, research, production, public administrative procedures, and all areas of life to the draft congress report...

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Pham Trong Hoang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee, Standing member of the Subcommittee for Documents of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, acknowledged and accepted the enthusiastic, frank, responsible and practical opinions of the delegates. At the same time, he affirmed that the province's goal is to build a draft political report to be submitted to the 20th Provincial Party Congress that is truly the crystallization of the wisdom of the entire Party and people.

Based on the comments of the delegates and the directions of the Central Committee, the Subcommittee of Documents of the 20th Provincial Party Congress will revise and supplement the draft report to ensure that it closely follows reality, is consistent with the general trend, promotes the advantages and potentials of the locality, creates momentum for development, and joins the country in entering the era of national growth.
