Traffic collision, CX5 driver shoots, drives car over taxi driver
Driver Nguyen Duc Tien (born in 1980) is currently in poor health after the collision. The car company where he works has taken drastic measures to protect its employees from this serious incident.
On the morning of November 2, Mr. Nguyen Duc Long - captain of the Hanoi taxi company's team, who was assigned to monitor the incident, said that the victim Tien's health is currently very weak.
“Tien is still in a coma, sometimes conscious, sometimes unconscious. The perforated colon wound has greatly affected Tien’s health. The bullet is still in his body, the doctors have not been able to remove it because Tien’s health does not allow it,” said Mr. Long.
It is known that, given the serious signs of the incident, Cau Giay District Police are coordinating with the Department of Investigation Police on Social Order Crimes, Hanoi City Police to investigate and clarify the violations of those involved.
Previously, at 7:30 p.m. on October 30, Mr. Tien was driving a taxi with license plate 30A 36878 in lane 165 Duong Quang Ham (Cau Giay, Hanoi). There, he collided with a Mazda CX5 with license plate 30E 92648, and the two sides got into a scuffle. According to witnesses at the scene, they heard a sound like a gunshot, and when they arrived at the scene, they saw Mr. Tien collapsed.
The victim said that someone shot from inside the CX5. Not stopping there, the CX5 driver drove his car over Mr. Tien, abandoned the victim and left the scene. With the help of relatives and people at the scene, the driver of the Hanoi Taxi Joint Stock Company was taken to the emergency room with serious injuries on his body.
The police have identified the owner of the CX5 as a woman in Dong Da District (Hanoi). The driver of the CX5 on the evening of the collision has also been identified, but the subject is currently on the run and the police are urgently searching for this subject.
The CX5 that caused the accident with Mr. Tien then left the scene in the direction of Nguyen Van Huyen street.
